Born in 1960 in Attard, Xuereb has not only excelled in the visual language of his creations, whether in the figurative or in the abstract sectors, but has equally proved his expertise in the diversity of techniques and media employed. Attracted by forms, texture and colour - internally driven, and emotionally charged - Xuereb’s works of art have been described as very uplifting.
He works with variety of mediums; Xuereb’s portfolio seems to be the works of several artists. The versatility in such a collection is what Xuereb is best known for; his ever-changing use of techniques has become his signature.
